Dr. Pickens is a 2018 graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College. She has a passion for advanced and wellness care for not only dogs and cats but mixed animal practice for primarily goats, sheep, and pigs. She also brings expertise in clinical trial medicine to River Run. This is an important tool in advancing veterinary science. Through these trials, we can identify new treatments and interventions that have the potential to significantly improve the health and wellbeing of our pets. She spends her free time with her husband and two beloved dogs, Beau and Leroy.
When she's not dedicating her time to keeping our pets healthy, she can be found exploring the great outdoors. Hiking and rafting are among her favorite pursuits.
